A limited number of summer positions on varying shifts will be available this year for employment during June, July, and August at an hourly rate of $13.00 per hour. Summer employment opportunities are ONLY available to the children of team members currently working at Pierce Manufacturing and Airport Products.

Selection will be made using the following criteria:

  • Child of current Pierce Manufacturing or Airport Products team members.
  • Program available to full-time students who have chosen to further their education immediately following high school graduation. The only exception will be students who postponed further education after high school graduation in order to serve in a branch of the military.
  • Students attending a 2-year technical college or a 4-year accredited college are eligible for summer employment. All applicants must provide written proof of enrollment/acceptance in a post high school undergraduate institution or Technical College on or before their start date.
  • Students will be eligible for a maximum number of summers based on the college they are enrolled in for fall, 2021. Students enrolled in a 2-year technical college are eligible for a maximum of 2 summers; students enrolled in a 4-year accredited college are eligible for a maximum of 4 summers of employment.

Eligible students with prior summer work experience at Pierce Manufacturing and Airport Products will be given first opportunity to return (previous/current summer team members must apply to confirm their interest in returning/continuing in Summer, 2021). For the remaining positions, eligible students will be considered based on the following guidelines:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age as of June 1, 2021.
  • Length of service of the parent, who is a current Pierce or Airport Products team members.
  • Only two children are eligible per parent unless demand exceeds applicants. The first child will be hired based on parent's seniority. The second child will be considered based on availability of positions.
