Position Title: Portfolio Manager 3 - Business Credit
Business Unit: Commercial Banking Reports To: Manager of Portfolio and Collateral Operations - Business Credit Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for monitoring the asset quality and financial performance of an assigned portfolio of Asset Based Lending relationships. The incumbent provides the highest quality of service to every customer. The incumbent may be asked to independently generate new income potentials for the group depending on the incumbent's experience level. Primary Responsibilities: Manages an Asset Based Lending portfolio with emphasis on managing the borrower's collateral and financial progress. Performs financial and credit analysis as needed on various borrowers. Monitors trends within the client's industry. Monitors documentation, collateral and financial statement exceptions. Assists in the new business efforts by performing Preview Memos and completes underwriting packages on prospects. Ensures sound underwriting principals and guidelines are maintained while conforming to reporting and regulatory requirements. Identifies, recommends and implements strategies to best reduce the corporation's risk including recommended risk rating changes. Independently meets with borrowers, prospects and service providers on an as needed basis. Reviews outside legal counsel documents Diagnoses client needs and facilitates the cross sell of various Bank services to borrowers. Performs tasks as directed by senior members of the Asset Based Lending department. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Education: BA or BS Minimum Years Experience: 7 Special Skills: Excellent project management skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent customer service skills Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software MS Word - Basic Level MS Excel - Intermediate Level MS PowerPoint - Basic Level Experience in commercial banking and two or more years credit analysis or loan review experience.
