Position Summary We are seeking an Executive Vice President/Division President to join our team. This position is a senior level operations manager role for Richmond American Homes responsible for several departments in homebuilding operations (i.e. Land, Sales, Construction, Purchasing, Warranty, etc.). The position will report to the Regional President and the incumbent will be provided with the opportunity to train within all departments across the Phoenix divisions. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for results, the drive to put in the time and effort to excel as a leader, and has a very strong background in construction operations. (The title of the position will be determined at the time of candidate selection based on candidate skill-set and experience). Responsibilities The position will play a key role by partnering with senior leaders to maximize profits through establishing a business plan, achieving forecasts, and ensuring customer excellence. In addition, this position will be responsible for identifying and negotiating the purchases of new communities for Richmond American Homes and will help ensure that our business plan objectives are achieved by establishing strategic partnerships with Brokers and Land Sellers in the market.
Support short- and long-range financial development and management of the division.
Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (business, marketing, finance, or related field) Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, problem-solving, and decision making. Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with management, staff, board of directors, policy-making bodies, banking personnel, and the public. Good negotiation skills.
