Director of Pre-Licensure Healthcare Compliance and Clinical Placement

The Opportunity

Working within the Office of Product and Program Innovation, the Director of Pre-Licensure Healthcare Compliance and Clinical Placement (DPHCC) will collaborate to maintain on accreditation and compliance documentation, and manage clinical placement sites and student placement. Working with the Academic Program Manager for Pre-Licensure Nursing, the university office of accreditation, and accrediting bodies, the DPHCC will help write accreditation documentation and track appropriate metrics that inform decisions related to compliance. Also, the DPHCC will work with the university office of compliance about adherence to Boards of Nursing and Boards of Medicine compliance. The other path of responsibility for the DPHCC is the management of clinical sites and placements for pre-licensure healthcare students. This includes assuring contract compliance from the clinical sites and assisting students in securing and navigating their placements. The DCVN reports to the Academic Strategy and Program Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • You will Provide administrative assistance for the allied health programs concerning accreditation, compliance, and clinical placement
  • You will Communicate with placement agencies regarding plans for student placement
  • You will Initiate and maintain clinical placements in collaboration with other relevant university offices
  • You will Manage up-to-date clinical site directory and preceptor directory in clinical tracking system
  • You will Assign forms, workflows, and communications in clinical tracking system
  • You will Assist faculty with documentation requirements of clinical experiences
  • You will Monitor and report on all data surrounding student clinical placement, program management, and within third-party background vendor, SNHU systems, and other management systems
  • You will Maintain accurate records of student progress against clinical requirements
  • You will Communicate clinical information to students, faculty, and partners
  • You will Provide appropriate support to students based on clinical placement needs
  • You will Partner with the office of Academic Quality, Accreditation, and Support to gather information, write, monitor, and report on the requirements of multiple accrediting bodies the allied healthcare
  • You will Partner with the university State Authorization and Compliance Administrator to gather information, write, monitor, and reports on the requirements of several boards of nursing and boards of medicine
  • Other responsibilities or activities may be assigned at any time with or without notice

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
  • Healthcare administration/management experience
  • Specific strengths in communicating, organizing, scheduling, and collaborating
  • Experience in clinical placement, credentialing compliance, and documentation
  • Experience in managing contracts and facilitating agreements across diverse areas and for multiple success metrics.
  • Experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally under tight and complex deadlines.

Equivalent of experience in lieu of degree acceptable:

Yes


  • At least 2 years of related work experience in an educational setting, online experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
