Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Associate I.

In this role, the Research Associate is to assist the Supervisor in the execution of the project for which they have been hired.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Demonstrate knowledge of the organizations Service Standards and incorporate them into the performance of duties.

2. Record and maintain log of all project activity, correspondence, meeting minutes and back up of all records related to work performed at OIOC in a manner detailed by the Supervisor and in accordance with NYULH policies and procedures.

3. Present research findings/and or departmental accomplishments at departmental meeting, scientific meetings and/or prepare abstracts and manuscripts for presentation and publication.

4. Prepare written reports and updates for the Supervisor, as requested, documenting progress of ongoing tasks. research progress, in writing and/or verbally through the conclusion of the project.

5. Administer/fulfill all tasks assigned by the Supervisor. The research project, recruit subjects, collect data, analyze data, present data and comply with all IRB requirements.

6. Ability to assist in conducting focus groups, taking notes and prepare the necessary documentation to present to Supervisor and clients.

7. Skilled in describing research/project to potential research subjects or clients.

8. Strong organizational and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a field related to the study or in Ergonomics and Biomechanics

Preferred Qualifications:
An advanced degree or enrollment in a program toward an advanced degree (MS, PhD) in a field related to the study or Ergonomics and Biomechanics.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $26.00 - $26.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
