The Editorial Assistant at St. Martin's Press will be responsible for assisting a Senior Publishing Manager and a Senior Editor for the Castle Point Books list and the Griffin Puzzle Program. The Editorial Assistant will be expected to maintain good knowledge of all details of publishing projects. Important responsibilities include: working cooperatively across all SMP divisions and with external partners; maintaining detailed databases and production schedules; preparing copy for tip sheets, catalog copy, jackets, and metadata; preparing and routing manuscripts through the production process; and assisting with details and requests from contracts, production, marketing, and sales. This role will also be asked to read and offer opinions on project proposals and manuscripts. What you'll do:

This role will have an annual salary of $47,500.
