The Identity Digital Business Intelligence team is responsible for the design and operation of our reporting and analytics platform as well as data analysis to guide and support business initiatives. As a Data Scientist you will be responsible for developing data insights to drive business decisions or actions via statistics, prescriptive and predictive analytics and AI/ML modeling. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing ML applications as well as developing and deploying new ones.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms



  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns



  • Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data



  • Monitor and maintain AI/ML model effectiveness



  • Combine models through ensemble modeling



  • Present complex information using data visualization techniques



  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges that drive business impact



  • Research/benchmark AI/ML technology to support data product/service roadmap



  • Provide status updates to leadership on key data insights at program milestones, including reviews and demos





  • Use MLOps practices and methods to plan and create AI applications to address business challenges



  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills combined with an agile process




Required Skills and Experience:




  • 5+ years of experience in a data science capacity




    • Proficient in one or more analytical methodologies such as feature engineering, data analysis, numerical optimization, real time & time-series modeling, forecasting, machine learning/deep learning and natural language processing;



    • Experience of ML toolkits such as Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, SK-Learn, Numpy, Matplotlib



    • Experience in supervised learning (Logistic, Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost) and unsupervised learning (K-means, Nearest Neighbor, Hierarchical Clustering, Anomaly Detection)





  • 3+ yrs experience in developing, deploying, and monitoring performance of data pipelines, data analysis, and BI reporting;




    • Experience utilizing:




      • Scripting languages (Python, PySpark and SQL);



      • Databases (BigQuery preferred)



      • Data Visualizations (Tableau preferred)







  • Proven technical ability to navigate highly complex data management projects and effectively collaborate with multiple parties



  • Experience developing software with business intelligence, data warehousing, and ETL services and technologies.



  • Ability to investigate issues based on limited information



  • Creative, strategic and analytical mindset



  • Ability to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results



  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with team members and cross-functional teams



  • Organizational and time management skills



  • Attention to detail



  • Knowledge of the domain name industry a bonus




Education:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering is required, Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in AI/ML preferred
