Description Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Software Engineering Manager in Lawton, OK to join our local development team to create unique solutions for complex problems in engineering, spectrum warfare, and defense domains. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will bring your passion of leading others and mentorship in software design and development to lead a team of software engineers to design, build, deploy, and maintain mission critical solutions that support our customers' mission objectives. You will also be responsible for working with other product stakeholders, customers, and managers, contributing directly to the lifecycle of our customers' products, as well as the career growth and development of your team. Our team is primarily in-person in Lawton. Culturally, we place emphasis on trust, respect, asynchronous communication, creativity, and valuing the mission of our customers. Candidate must accept the additional responsibility and accountability that comes with a personnel management position. As a manager, the candidate will be responsible for mentoring others, leading by example, coordinating personnel staffing commitments and needs, planning for professional growth of personnel, keeping management informed of critical issues, and playing a key role in proposal and business development opportunities, as required. Basic Qualifications
Must possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/ SCI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Top Secret SCI Clearance. Preferred Qualifications
