Role:

Community Teamwork is actively searching for two Financial Analysts to join the Finance and Accounting Team. Each of these roles will be fundamental in the financial performance within the Division to ensure current and future funding of program services.

Role available for the following divisions:



  • Housing and Homelessness: Programs include Leased Housing, Family and Individual Emergency Shelters, and Youth Services.
  • Community Resources: Programs include Rental Assistance, Fuel Assistance, Weatherization, WIC, Financial Literacy, Senior Volunteers, Entrepreneurial Business Center and Community Resource Center.


Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, monitoring, and analyzing the Division's program and contract performance to ensure financial sustainability and achievement of program goals. This role will be fundamental in the financial performance within the Division to ensure current and future funding of program services.

This role requires a strong understanding of nonprofit finance, budgeting principles and data analysis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:



  • Collaborate with the Director of Contracts and Planning Team on funding initiatives and budget projections.
  • Develop budgets that align and support the scope of the contract.
  • Manage the Division's budget in collaboration with Program Management.
  • Monitor and analyze budget against actuals, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Host monthly budget monitoring meetings with Program Management and Grant Accountant.
  • Assist with financial reporting requirements to external stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Program Management and Finance and Accounting.
  • Perform other related duties as required.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in grant accounting or nonprofit finance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities, including underserved communities.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Contract and Grant management and compliance.
  • NetSuite ERP / NSPB.
