What you will be doing: * Perform daily payroll department operations such as but not limited to new hire paperwork, employee reimbursements, court ordered support notices, etc. * Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. * Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits. * Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports. * Supports yearly audits and coordinate month-end processing of reports, accruals, and reconciliations. * Generate bi-weekly and monthly reporting for Human Resources and Operations. * Respond to employee inquiries about health, retirement, and life benefit programs. * Review and validate payroll transactions, including wage adjustments and benefit deductions. * Process benefit enrollments * Maintain accurate personnel files and handle employee change requests. * Process monthly billings and invoices for group benefit plans. * Support the processing of STD and LTD claims. * Assist in the annual open enrollment process. * Assist in processing employee 401(K) changes. * Other duties as assigned. What we are looking for: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred. * Ideally 2 years of experience processing payroll, benefits, or administrative experience. * Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Proven ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines. * Customer Service minded professional with a desire to build relationships both internally and externally. * Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel.
