Description: Position Summary The Department of Pathology and Laboratory of Genomic Medicine at University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate to join its informatics division. This position will focus on three major areas: 1) clinical diagnostic testing which includes DNA sequence data analysis from high-complexity tests such as the solid tumor sequencing panel, hematologic malignancies sequencing panel, clinical exome sequencing and high throughput RNA sequencing; 2) perform variant curation and interpretation, develop protocols for variant curation and classification; and 3) participate in new test developments and clinical research projects.
