Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Pediatrics-Cardiology Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Pediatrics-Cardiology Hiring Department: UICOMP-Pediatrics Location: Peoria, IL USA Requisition ID: 1026361 Posting Close Date: 10/3/2024 The Department of Pediatrics of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks Pediatric Cardiac Multi-Modal Imaging candidates for a pediatric cardiology faculty position. This cardiologist will work primarily at OSF Healthcare Children's Hospital of Illinois. The candidate must hold an MD/DO degree, be board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric cardiology, and hold or be eligible for an Illinois physician license. Candidates must have completed residency & fellowship training. Additional training and/or extensive experience in pediatric and congenital cardiac imaging (Echo, CT, MRI) is required. The candidate will join a well-established team of 10 pediatric cardiologists, 2 pediatric cardiovascular surgeons, 5 advanced practice providers, and collaborative radiologists. Professional efforts will be bolstered by state-of-the-art facilities, including up to date CT and MRI technology. Excellent collaboration exists among pediatric subspecialists, radiologists, as well as adult cardiology colleagues. UICOMP supports a thriving education program with medical students, residents, and fellows. Clinical activities will include outpatient clinics, inpatient rotation, and imaging. Travel to outreach clinics located in surrounding community cities is required. Inpatient and imaging is provided at OSF Healthcare Children's Hospital of Illinois (CHOI). Clinical activities of this faculty member will be at the full-time assistant/associate/professor rank based on the experience of the candidate.
