Toward that end, Student Affairs invites applications for an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager position in the Paul Robeson Cultural Center (PRCC). The Paul Robeson Cultural Center (PRCC) provides programs and support services to encourage and cultivate the appreciation and celebration of the diverse perspectives, experiences, and cultures of many under-represented communities at Penn State. Specifically, the PRCC seeks to serve students in the development of character, conscience, and social responsibility through fostering identity development, social justice, and inclusion. The Administrative Assistant serves as the Office Manager within the PRCC and is responsible for the planning, organizing, coordinating, and oversight of daily office operations within the Center. This position holds a significant role in contributing to the overall student experience for those working and visiting the Center. Excellent communication skills, a desire to work in a Center that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a demonstrated commitment to supporting students of color and other marginalized student populations in higher education are a must. Working knowledge of SIMBA, SAP Concur, and/or other financial systems is a plus, but not required. This position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or Vocational Training/Degree diploma and two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
