Sellers & Associates, LLC (S&A) is seekingInstructorto join our team in Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate will be interfacing with customers and delivering comprehensive training sessions in both in-person and virtual environments. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of Navy program acquisition processes and a solid background in contract regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to a diverse audience, including both in-person and virtual formats.
• Interface with customers to tailor training content to their specific needs and feedback.
• Develop training materials and courses that are informative and accessible, using a variety of instructional techniques.
• Utilize expert knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and Navy contract standards to ensure compliance and relevance in training content.
• Continuously update and refine training programs to reflect the latest practices and regulations.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

• 5+ years' experience working with SUPSHIP (Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS), and NAVSEA Contract Handbook.
• Familiarity with Navy program acquisition processes.
• Demonstrated skills in researching, writing, developing, and conducting training.

Must Have

• Active Secret Clearance
• Proven ability to engage and educate in both virtual and face-to-face settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and customers.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and teaching platforms.

Nice To Have

• Certifications or additional training in instructional design or educational technology.
• Experience in a military or defense environment beyond the minimum requirement.
