Business Unit Overview This position is part of Novanta's Corporate and Shared Services global teams. Novanta's Corporate and Shared Services teams play an important role in executing the company's strategic mission and operations. The Corporate and Shared Services teams work closely with all Novanta business units to support operating initiatives contributing to the organization's financial success. Summary The Individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the US IT operations team, user infrastructure, and ensuring that Novanta's end user systems are secure, reliable, and meet the needs of the user community. This individual will plan, coordinate, and direct IT personnel and operations related activities for the US regional sites. This individual will provide administrative direction and support for the US IT operations team members. This will include developing IT operations processes for user on-boarding and off-boarding, device procurement, patching, device management, and deployment. This is a full-time position, typical hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
