Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications for Advised Affluent Offering & also supports business units or supporting functions for Benefits online Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies, software, hardware and tools Assist with offshore coordination with offshore teams and collaborate with other programmers and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of the software application Work with minimal supervision and guidance from more seasoned consultants, and may also be expected to provide application support Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities Requirements: 8 -10 years of experience Java APIs and web development Spring boot Experience in Core Java, developing J2EE Applications involving JSP and Servlets Experience with IDE like Eclipse or NetBeans or IntelliJ App Server experience in deploying J2EE applications using WebSphere or Tomcat or Apache Experience on WebApi Knowledge on Handlebar/ AngularJS/ React, JavaScript, jQuery, client-side technologies Strong analytical and problem solving skills Experience of automated unit testing tools Desired skills: Ability to work in a Lean-Agile environment Knowledge of Groovy Framework Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL Experience in financial domain Excellent written/verbal communication skills Self-motivated and demonstrates a willingness to accept additional responsibilities and projects Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
