Summary
The Supervisor, Facilities Strategy & Planning has primary accountability for strategic planning, capital long range forecasting, project budgeting, real estate acquisition/disposition, lease negotiations, space management, building standards, and execution of move services (for non-nuclear sites and facilities). Works collaboratively with internal APS departments and stakeholders to maintain a highly visible corporate presence of real estate and facilities functions and continually seeks opportunities to optimize the company's real estate portfolio while meeting business needs. Leads and develops individuals and teams by leveraging company processes and tools that involve staffing, training, supervising, coaching and performance management to achieve optimal performance. Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Management, Project Management or other job related field from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of experience in Engineering, facility management/operations, corporate real estate, construction management, project management or other job related discipline. 1) Oversees the strategic development and on-going maintenance of the 10-Year Real Estate and Facilities Capital Long Range Forecast (LRF). Socializes LRF and maintains alignment with key business stakeholders and partners as organizational business plans and operational strategies evolve. Export Compliance / EEO Statement
This position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energy's Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120) (collectively, 'U.S. Export Control Laws'). Hybrid:Employees in hybrid roles work both in their home offices (virtually) and alongside their colleagues (in person). In order for employees to build strong relationships and to promote meaningful in-person interactions, hybrid employees are expected to work about 40% of their time in-person at an APS or other (non-home office) location. *Employees are expected to reside in Arizona (or New Mexico for Four Corners-based employees). *Working from a home office requires adequate technology and an appropriate ergonomic set up. *Role types are subject to change based on business need.
