Process Engineer

INVISTA is currently looking for a Process Engineer to join our team at our Longview, TX production facility. INVISTA needs principled individuals of exceptional talent to fill all types of positions. In this hands-on engineering role, the Process Engineer will challenge the status quo, prioritize based on risk and value, develop and implement solutions to meet business objectives.

What You Will Do

• Embody and be an advocate for the Operations Vision, creating a shared vision environment, and a culture of Principled Entrepreneurs with a contribution mindset.
• Motivate, influence, and drive good business decisions forward while working with a diverse workforce.
• Actively participating in the site's PSM execution (MOC Process, PSSR, PSI, PHA, MI, etc.)
• Improve the reliability of the site by building sustainable technical knowledge systems that grow the capability of the site.
• Provide process technical support and monitoring alongside the production team to help build capabilities that will both sustain and optimize unit performance.
• Utilize innovative tools to embed technical process knowledge and support control room capabilities to run, maintain, optimize, and improve our production unit's throughput.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Three (3) or more years' experience in process engineering in a chemical process environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering
• Valid and current driver's license

What Will Put You Ahead

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Experience in polypropylene process or Unipol PP Technology
