Your Job

INVISTA is seeking a Strategy and Point of View Development Associate to join their team! In this highly collaborative and influential role, the Associate will participate in supporting major business decisions through research, market analysis, strategy and point of view development, origination, financial modeling, and due diligence.

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, intellectually curious, adaptable with a high attention to detail and have skills of strategic thinking, problem solving, effective communicating with variety of stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Perform and communicate industry research and competitive analysis related to potential investments and markets of interests
  • Improve existing tools and build new knowledge platforms to enhance decision making across the organization with a focus towards improving accuracy and minimizing waste
  • Participate in strategic development in partnership with Point of View Director or directly with business leaders or delegates
  • Perform market analysis including modeling and diligence to support business decision making process
  • Lead discussions with business leaders and effectively communicate analysis results and recommendations
  • Initiate and lead point of view work streams related to improving existing knowledge systems as well as expansion into relevant new areas of consideration.
  • Drive analysis to actionable insights for the organization

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 2+ years of transaction and/or investment experience or 4+ years of driving business decisions through analytics
  • Experience of using economic analysis to make or support decisions
  • Experience with fundamental analysis and modeling (supply and demand, trade flow, cost stacks, value chain, industry structure, etc.) aimed to create actionable insights
  • This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a Business-related field
  • Experience in corporate development, corporate strategy, strategy consulting, equity research, private equity, trading, transaction services or investment banking
  • Experience where market or competitive analysis was a critical component of the responsibility
