About the role

This position requires an employee to be able to perform all functions necessary to utilize market knowledge and activity to grow revenue, profitability, and increase market share. The Market Director role is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all phases of the sales lifecycle for the market. This position leverages the broader NA strategy to create and implement customized local market sales strategies that will lead to sustainable business performance and growth. The Market Director is an entrepreneurial sales leader who executes on new business development and successfully coaches sales colleagues to increase client count and expand the service offerings that we sell to current customers.

What you'll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for P&L Management and market growth in revenue and gross profit annually.
  • Successfully attracts, identifies and hires talent in the local market and top grades existing talent when opportunity arises
  • Successfully ramps colleagues to quick sales results and path to growth. Develops colleagues into long-term successful salespeople and leaders
  • Performance Leadership - Management system centered around ongoing performance evaluation and feedback
  • Joins sales colleagues in client and prospect meetings on a weekly basis to help them achieve optimal client outcomes. Debriefs with sales colleagues to give proper feedback on meeting performance as well as strategize upcoming actions needed for a successful client relationships.
  • Conducts quarterly business reviews (QBR's) with each of the sales staff to discuss prior quarter results and future quarter goals.
  • Develops the overall market territory plan and the strategic planning for key accounts, with the ability to measure performance.
  • Goes to market with the expanded Akkodis service offerings to existing and target customers to bring in new logos and scale the growth within current customers.
  • Leads role playing initiatives on a consistent basis.
  • Accountable for strong partnership with IT & Engineering Services that leads to increasing the number of opportunities and wins for the market.
  • Leads the Public Relations effort in the local market. Highly involved in local conferences and networking events along with sales staff.
  • Partners with delivery leadership to ensure the business operating procedures are being met and the teams are collaborating in the most efficient way possible to satisfy the needs of our customer.
  • Ensures company policies are followed. Conducts branch audits to monitor colleague effectiveness in best practices and standard operating procedures. (I.e., job order entry, new client onboarding, client maintenance, etc)
  • Responsible for both client and employee retention.
  • Conducts weekly sales meetings and/or training meetings for a collaborative effort to discuss market and client challenges as well as uphold our sales operating procedure.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other related duties as required.
  • Creates strong strategic relationships with Corporate Office and interdepartmental colleagues.
  • Responsible for preparing and reviewing weekly activity, production, sales, market, and operations reports for colleague awareness.
  • Develops solutions regarding customer-related issues to ensure client satisfaction.
About you

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • 5 or more years staffing industry sales experience.
  • 2 or more years prior experience managing a profit center and leading a sales team ideal.
  • Prior successful track record in IT Services or Consulting/services selling.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communications, organizational management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement a structured sales plan and pipeline development.
  • Ability to develop, improve and/or streamline processes to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Ability to effectively work with senior and executive leadership, as well as colleagues from affiliated TAG business units.
  • Ability to function and prioritize in a fast-paced multi-task, team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Problem solving capabilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficient with ATS, Sales Tools and Financial Reporting Tools
