Job Summary:
The Center for Research on Early Childhood Education (CRECE) was established at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the UW-Madison School of Education in November 2017. Unique among education research centers in its whole-child, ecological approach to research, as well as its multi-tiered approach to stakeholder engagement. CRECE's work focuses on children ages 0-8, their families, and communities. WCER's mission is to improve educational outcomes for diverse student populations, impact education practice positively and foster collaborations among academic disciplines and practitioners. WCER generates approximately $80 million of revenue in awards and services annually and employs approximately 500 employees including academic staff, university staff, research associates, graduate assistants, and undergraduates. WCER serves as a research home for approximately 140 grant-funded projects, providing support for all stages of the research process. WCER values guide both research and research operations.
