Description

Summary/Purpose of the Position:

The Quality Administrator works closely with personnel throughout multiple locations to become or maintain ISO 9001, AS9120, AS9100, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 13485 compliance. As business identifies additional certification needs, supply compliance support as required. This role will develop, implement, maintain, and support Quality Management System (QMS) and where applicable Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and practices for multiple locations. This role is responsible for evaluating site compliance, Internal/External Audit preparation and providing Quality support for multiple locations.

The Quality Administrator will identify and implement continual improvement (CI) efforts for multiple locations.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for implementing and ensuring maintenance of Quality and Environmental certification requirements. i.e., AS9100, AS9120, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001
  • Ensuring certified locations are prepared for external registrar audit
  • Responsible for conducting and managing Internal, External and Supplier audits
  • Identifies and implements "Best Practices" throughout the organization
  • Implements corrective actions where required across the organization
  • Customer/Vendor liaison involving quality issues
  • Train and mentor personnel on QMS, EMS, and EH&S requirements
  • Participate in corporate management review and organizational business review meetings as required
  • Responsible for completeness of nonconformities and corrective actions
  • Evaluate Quality Metrics and KPIs and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities throughout the organization
  • Monitor organizational compliance on Quality and Environmental records
  • Indirectly responsible for the quality of the product
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years in a quality related role required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish - Written & Verbal is preferred
  • Quality experience is required; preferrable in AS9100,ISO 9001, ISO 13485
  • Proficient in root cause and corrective action analysis
  • Auditor certification preferred, or required to obtain auditor training in appropriate quality and environmental standards
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • CQA or CQIA preferred
  • Continuous Improvement and Statistical Process Control knowledge
  • Foster innovation and improvements
  • Detail orientated, resourceful, analytical, and inquisitive
  • Self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe acrobat, PowerPoint
  • Good interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • Attentive urgency and excellent follow-through skills required
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
  • Willingness and ability to frequently travel (Mexico, Canada & USA)
