Overview

Sitting within the FXPB Client Service Team, you as Client Service Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for many of the Bank's top tier clients who trade a wide range of FX (Foreign Exchange) products. You'll be well placed to develop existing Client relationships and build new Client relationships across the Market. Furthermore you'll be working on innovative projects involving the development of our FX Prime Brokerage.

You will act as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders in the FXPB and wider FX Business, and will be expected to role-model excellence and drive forward the evolution of our FXPB offering and Client Service model. With global representation, the FXPB team provide client coverage 24 hours, utilising a follow-the-sun model with teams based in Asia, Europe and in the US, Client Services representatives are able to build strong relationships with clients and collaborate to implement continuous process improvements and new solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage trade capture, trade booking, reconciliation, and trade event management of FX trades

  • Develop process flows and increase operational efficiency - ability to identify and implement changes to existing processes

  • Role-model and showcase the FXPB Client Service Team to both internal and external stakeholders whilst mentoring and developing individual team members to promote an inclusive and knowledgeable team culture

  • Act as an escalation point for daily Client management and issue resolution

  • Build meaningful and value add relationships across a broad spectrum of Clients, both existing and prospective, Act as primary point of contact for client issues and escalations, following up with internal/external teams until resolution

  • Provide Client Solutions - collaborate with Sales, Product, Risk teams, Transition / Onboarding, Client Services and Technology teams to understand client needs and implement innovative solutions for existing clients. Identify areas of inefficiency or risk and proactively work toward appropriate changes

Skills You'll Need

  • In depth knowledge of FX & FXPB market. Understanding of industry tools preferable

  • In depth knowledge of complex FX derivatives

  • Understanding of FXPB market and knowledge of wide ranging Client types, including Hedge Funds, HFT's, Investment Managers and Retail Aggregators and an understanding of ECN trading platforms including Reuters & electronic blue sheets (EBS)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Strong Information Technology (IT) skills Preferred in Excel, Macro & Structured Query Language (SQL)

  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience working in Financial Services, preferably in a client facing role

  • Data analysis experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, Ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks with keen attention to detail and focus on risk management

  • Fluent Portuguese speaker preferred. Spanish also advantageous

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the NYC office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $65,000.00 to $107,250.00. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
