Description

We are seeking a Project Analyst to support projects in our Honolulu Office. Our ideal candidate will proactively partner with Project Managers and other members of the project team to provide Project Management Support and help coordinate projects from start to finish. This position will be located on Oahu.

Detailed Description:

Project Delivery and Support:



  • Partner with project managers to ensure that all projects meet internal and external performance requirements in areas such as financials, contracts, billing, risk management, project documentation and file management, communication, and quality control in accordance with Brown and Caldwell's (BC's) project management systems and standards.
  • Have a thorough understanding of contract requirements and the overall scope, schedule, and budget of work for each project assigned to support proposals, project set-up, and execution.
  • Assist with daily project needs as assigned by the project manager and technical staff.
  • Assist with the formatting and preparation of client deliverables as needed.


Budget/Financial:



  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of overall project budget and financial status. Work with project managers to establish budgets which meet company and client guidelines.
  • Review financial reports, monitor labor charges, expenses, subcontractor invoices.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to expedite the client invoicing process.
  • Act as point of contact for any client, subcontractor or internal team member on questions related to project finances.


Project Reporting and Compliance:



  • Work closely with project managers, quality reviewers, and accounting staff to lead the successful and timely delivery of the month end reporting process, which involves a review of overall project health, earned value analysis, project invoicing, schedule review, and workload forecasting.


Project Setup and Closeout:



  • Work closely with Legal and Health and Safety teams to assist with contracts, subcontracts, amendments, and request certificates of insurance.
  • Help project managers create the Project Management Plan, draft contact lists, and deliverables tracking.
  • Upon project closeout, coordinate with the project team and Finance and Accounting to complete closeout activities.


Team Effectiveness:



  • Work closely with the project manager to lead project team coordination and communication.
  • Build relationships with project managers and team members, clients, and vendors for coordination and communication
  • Proactively identify work assignments that need to be completed.
  • Ability to collaborate and contribute across the company in a virtual environment.


Desired Skills and Experience:



  • Minimum three years of related experience in Project Accounting and/or budgeting; experience in project support/coordination; experience in the A&E and construction industry preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and MS Project; Power Point, ProjectWise Power BI and Sharepoint are a plus.
  • Should be able to anticipate project needs and have the ability to identify work assignments independently.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills are essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Successful candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and have a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize working in a fast-paced project environment required.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment required.
  • Ability to manage multiple communication platforms (email, IM, phone, video, mass blog style posts)


  • Willing to work occasional over-time


Salary:

Location B: $26.90 -36.90
