Job Description

American Systems seeks an exceptionally well qualified Senior DoD Executive Administrator with demonstrated expertise in supporting senior DoD Executives with administration and scheduling, classified material handling, security facility administration, and information technology coordination at the Suffolk Building in Arlington, VA.

A Week in the life of a Senior DoD Executive Administrator:



  • Support operations management and administration, personnel administration, security administration
  • Meeting administration and scheduling
  • Information Technology coordination
  • Correspondence administration
  • Technical, information and decision brief preparation
  • Support to personnel travel administration
  • Top Secret and Special Access Programs (SAP) classified material handling
  • Security facility administration

Job Requirements

  • A High School diploma.
  • Top Secret clearance (with SCI eligibility)
  • 10 years' experience providing executive administration and administrative security support to include preparing technical briefs, correspondence, and congressional responses.
  • Experience Must include:

    • OSD processes and procedures related to supported tasks, including correspondence, security, and human capital.
    • Industrial and security operations as they apply to contractors, DoD and/or other government intelligence organizations.
    • Protection and handling procedures associated with classified information.
    • Packaging, staffing, and routing Congressional correspondences across the DoD.
    • Managing senior-level scheduling, as well as coordinating and executing classified video teleconferences.
    • Supporting high-ranking Defense Department Senior Executives and interacting with DoD Flag / General Officers as well as their support staff.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
