Director of Supportive & Integrative Oncology About City of Hope, The successful candidate: The Director of Supportive & Integrative Oncology is a programmatic and people leader accountable for all operational aspects within the departments of Supportive & Integrative Oncology. As a programmatic and people leader, the Director is responsible for the growth and development of those on the teams under their responsibility. This individual is a change leader within the enterprise, continuously evaluating and refining program and departmental processes to enhance safety, quality, and profitability, while also improving daily operations and patient outcomes. The Director must exhibit strong critical thinking, complex decision-making, and deductive reasoning skills. Furthermore, the Director is responsible for building and maintaining collaborative relationships with all members of various inpatient and outpatient teams, particularly with physicians and leaders, as well as with leaders and team members in partner departments who facilitate patient care. Responsibilities include but are not limited to daily department and program operations, strategic planning and business development, quality and clinical excellence, policy and procedure development and adherence, financial stability and budgeting, employee influence and leadership, patient retention, and positive patient experience.
Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration Minimum Experience: Minimum of ten years of leadership experience, 7+ years in healthcare operations Preferred Education: Undergraduate degree in a clinical area preferred.
