Protective Services Receptionist II - Einstein, Elkins Park Campus (Part Time - Every Other Weekend Shift)

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.

Education/Training/Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Computer skills required.
  • 6 months experience required preferably in a medical setting.
  • Computer based Visitor Pass Program experience required.

Primary Function:

Provide general information to visitors, telephone callers, and hospital staff at the Albert Einstein Main campus. This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) Pediatrics to Geriatrics in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Physical Demand Analysis: Ability to work and rotate all shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements: Alternating activity that includes sitting and walking.

Visual Requirements: Alternating activity which includes reading handwritten and computer generated information.

Hearing Requirements: Alternating activity that includes receiving verbal and telephonic Information.

Working Conditions: Alternating activity with all levels of hospital staff as well as patients and visitors. Can be stressful and fast paced. Ability to handle a high stress environment.
