Description Job Purpose: Install, maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic circuitry and related components associated with production and facility equipment. This is a collective bargaining unit position Essential Functions:
- Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain electrical/electronic equipment used in production or other related services, maximizing production time and minimizing down time.
- Troubleshoot electrical/electronic equipment malfunctions or operating problems and make repairs or adjustments as necessary to keep equipment in production.
- Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment which may involve electrical wiring, electrical components or electronic instrumentation.
- Ability to utilize electrical ladder diagrams, electronic circuitry diagrams, and software programs to modify, repair, or improve equipment functionality.
- Perform maintenance on buildings, facilities, and the grounds.
- Perform all necessary preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment, other electrical/electronic equipment, buildings, and grounds.
- Inventory parts and supplies and compile parts list needed to complete rebuilding and repair activities on equipment and submit list to the supervisor so that parts may be ordered.
- Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork, records, documents, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Improve your skills, suggest improvements, cooperate with other departments, and improve your knowledge of SG360 and the graphic arts industry.
- Follow proper work procedures, comply with SG360 policies and obey safety and security rules.
Requirements Education/Experience:
- Associate Degree in Electronics or related field, a State Electrical license, or a minimum of 5 years of electrical / electronic repair experience in a print manufacturing environment is preferred
Physical:
- Must be able to lift and/or carry 65 pounds.
- Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel or crouch for job.
- May be exposed to hot/humid and/or dusty work environment.
- May be exposed to controlled non-toxic mists or vapors.
Mental:
- Must be able to read and understand written instructions.
- Must have a good knowledge of electrical/electronic theory, the national electrical code, the local electrical code and electrical safety practices.
- Position may require some mathematical calculations (including common fractions, decimals, and various units of measure.) May use a calculator.
Technical:
- Strong knowledge in the electronic diagnostics of PLC's, AC/DC drive systems and various types of computer operated control circuitry (Siemens and Allen Bradley).
- Experience with web offset printing presses (Goss/Heidelberg -M1000B, M1000BE, M600, M110, print units, or similar equipment is preferred.
- Requires the ability to read and work from blueprints, schematics, circuit diagrams and use precision measuring devices.
- Demonstrate proficiency utilizing a personal computer, order parts and materials by using appropriate company purchasing requirements including computerized maintenance management systems.
- Utilize a variety of tools such as: hand tools, power tools, electrical/electronic test equipment and calibration equipment.
- Requires the ability to obtain a forklift operator's certification.
