Your Role at Baxter
THIS IS WHERE you build trust to achieve results! Care Communications is a division of Baxter focused on delivering clinical workflow automation solutions to healthcare facilities. The division is headquartered in Raleigh, NC. The Digital Health Project Manager is responsible for revenue forecasting, planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of Baxter Care Communications customer-awarded projects in the software space per Project Management specifications. The role directly reports to the Digital Health & Connectivity PMO Manager. The ideal candidate will have prior project management, healthcare, or IT experience. The position requires up to 10-30% travel depending on geographic location. This is a full-time, remote position. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM EST - 5:00 PM EST.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide strong proactive leadership in the execution of Product implementation projects. Strong leadership characteristics must be shown in all aspects of project execution, including interactions with the customer project team and its 'C' level management, Baxter senior management, and internal project team members.
- Deliver strong skills, especially the management of scope and results across many, concurrent projects where they will communicate effectively the project status and action plans for concurrent projects.
- Deliver strong forecasting specific to revenue attainment, ensuring close adherence to project schedule by mentor/collaborating with customers to meet target completion dates for many concurrent projects.
- Be able to speak to technical aspects of the product, including, but not limited to: Server Architecture, ADT feeds, cloud-specific architecture, and medical device-specific protocols.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve customer issues that pose risk to the success of the project both internally and at the customer site. This candidate must have experience handling customer issues proactively while providing efficient solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Provide thought leadership on topics that contribute and ROI related to project management, system implementations, and hospital/clinical best practices.
- Ensure that the implementation strategy conforms to product design principles and standards, are logical, and model the customer's needs.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all project related documents. To include: Time Reporting, UAT, Work Order Submittal or all project close out documentation to drive revenue recognition.
- Build and enforce to defined and mutually agreed upon project plans. Proactively identifies out of scope opportunities during the execution of implementation projects and pursues them in concert with the appropriate team members.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a business, health care or technical field required.
- Acute care, health care environment experience preferred.
- PMP or other industry-related certification(s) desired.
- 5+ years combined project management experience (preferably within healthcare, IT, or medical devices) or technically-focused project role desired.
- Experience in Revenue Forecasting and Attainment of Individual Revenue Targets
- Strong PC literacy including knowledge of Microsoft products, project management software, and JIRA.
- Technical literacy including knowledge of Server architecture, ADT feeds, cloud-specific architecture, and device-specific protocols.
- Strong consultative approach to project management.
- Experience in the facilitation of large, diverse groups to reach a consensus agreement on process.
- Ability of leading a defined sequence of tasks to completion within daring schedules, through individual effort and coordination of the work of others.
- Proven track record on balancing multiple, concurrent projects/initiatives to completion with bold schedules and running multiple stakeholders.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $88,000 to $121,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
