Description: Position Summary We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to work in a dynamic research environment funded by multi-year grants from National Institutes of Health (NIH) https://thepajcinilab.com. The postdoctoral fellow will employ multidisciplinary approaches by combining stem cell biology and genetic approaches with transgenic model systems and single cells analysis, to understand fundamental mechanisms of tissue regeneration and to develop advanced therapeutics for tissue injury. The main target organs include the fetal liver, the bone marrow, and the thymus. Duties & Responsibilities Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Science Preferred Qualifications - Cell biology and engineering: e.g. cell culture, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy - Molecular biology and engineering: e.g. plasmid cloning, CRISPR - Animal studies with rodents: e.g. transplantation, survival surgery, in vivo imaging. - Nanotechnology: e.g. nanoparticle tracking analysis, nanoparticle synthesis, TEM/SEM The University of Illinois System is an equal opportunity employer, including but not limited to disability and/or veteran status, and complies with all applicable state and federal employment mandates.
