Laboratory Technical Assistant - Surgical Pathology

This role reports to the Manager of Anatomic Pathology (Surgical Pathology). We currently have one part-time evenings (12pm - 8:30pm) position open in the Surgical Pathology Department. Responsibilities include aiding in specimen accessioning and grossing at the Surgical Pathology Laboratory, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization in designated areas and washing glassware.

As a successful candidate, you will:

• Support activities in the surgical gross room
• Assist in setting up and handling specimens
• Be responsible for washing and cleaning laboratory equipment and supplies, such as glassware, sinks, and tables, in accordance with hospital standards.

Your qualifications should include:

• High School Diploma
• Experience in lab work/exposure in a lab atmosphere, preferred
