Description: NSI requires an Operations Coordinator and Integrator to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports & Cooperation (DASA DE&C) program office. The Operations Coordinator and Integrator is responsible for streamlining and enhancing the day-to-day operational processes within the DASADEC. This role requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual who can efficiently coordinate projects, integrate various functions across directorates, and ensure that operational tasks are completed smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Coordination: Manage and oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficient and effective processes. Coordinate and collaborate with various directorates to streamline operations and improve workflow. Monitor and track progress of operational projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Integration of Functions: Facilitate communication and integration between directorates to align operational activities with strategic goals. Develop and implement processes that enhance cross-functional collaboration and efficiency. Identify and address any operational bottlenecks or inefficiencies, recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with organizational objectives. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and reports. Coordinate resources and manage project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and analyze operational processes, identifying areas for improvement. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process changes, adjusting as needed.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support decision-making. Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, identifying trends and insights. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all operational reporting.
  • On-boarding Support and Training: Provide support and training to team members on operational processes and procedures. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to enhance team capabilities. Address any operational issues or challenges faced by team members, providing guidance and solutions.
  • Task Management: Develop, assign, and track tasks to ensure timely completion. Utilize task management tools to organize and prioritize workloads. Regularly update task statuses and provide reports to relevant stakeholders. Facilitate team meetings to review tasks progress and address roadblocks.


Location: Arlington, VA

Education: BS or BA degree in business administration, Operations Management, or relatedfield.

Experience: Proven experience in an operations or project management role. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across directorates. Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
