Warehouse Lead (Full-Time, 2nd Shift) Norfolk, NE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: WIS-PAK of NORFOLK

Position: Warehouse Lead

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Date: 09/05/2024

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Lead oversees the loading or unloading of all raw materials and full goods from and to the Norfolk Facility. Champion of safety and training.

JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Note: The job functions relate to the job, not the individual)

• Load and unload Trucks with Forklift in a timely manner.
• Assist with all Dock functions place airbags/void fillers for loaders.
• Coordinate with the shipping clerk that loads are prioritized by the daily needs of production and warehouse.
• Oversee that the docks and warehouse are properly cleaned.
• Oversee that raw materials and all full goods are placed in their proper locations.
• Receive and bill Shipments.
• Run and read reports/pick slips.
• Perform BOL corrections.
• Shag trailers.
• Hold monthly tailgate meetings.
• Count/Correct inventory when needed.
• Use bar codes, scanning equipment, and computer.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices
• Follow all food safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

JOB DUTIES/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS (Not fundamental job duties)

• Assist loaders.
• Monitor emails.
• Perform inventory returns and bill corrections.
• Follow through with all transactions performed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and solve problems.
• Have good communication and team building skills.
• Positive and Encouraging attitude.
• Relating Computer Skills.
• Must be able to lead and direct people to do their assigned work.
