CLEAN UP FORKLIFT- CLOW VALVE OSKALOOSA IA

1ST SHIFT POSITION: MONDAY- THURSDAY 5AM-3PM

STARTING RATE OF PAY: $25.18

HEALTH INSURANCE AVAILABLE AFTER 60 DAYS

This position has a variety of tasks associated with it; the candidate is responsible for picking up the metal shavings from various machines, operating a powered sweeper, as well as operating and emptying the cardboard compactor. The candidate must be willing to do snow removal when needed as well as maintaining the painted lines inside and outside of the facility.

Forklift operators are responsible for transferring loads of materials and finished goods throughout the facility by completing the following duties:
-Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork.
-Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people, objects, and other forklift traffic.
-Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
-Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations.

-Must be able to operate moving vehicles, including crane, truck, or forklift
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Stand up to 2 hours per day.
-Ability to utilize PPE including: safety glasses, hearing protection, metatarsal guarded boots, and others required.
-Ability to understand and operate forklift in a safe manner.
