Overview The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), a membership organization dedicated to the advancement of women's health care in Washington, DC, is currently seeking a Meeting Manager, Senior. The Meeting Manager, Senior is responsible for the planning, organizing and execution of all aspects of assigned events, both in-person and virtual. Implement strategies to achieve objectives to align with event strategy and vision. Research and recommend event venues. Coordinate meeting logistics, including attendee registration, off-site venue selection, contract negotiation and oversight, and technology. Research and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Develop and manage budgets for all assigned meetings and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Responsible for planning larger or more complex events. Cover Letter Required. Responsibilities Key Duties and Responsibilities.
Serve as the lead for event planning. Provide efficient communication among operational teams, manage the flow of the event, and serve as point person.
