Job Brief

Develops and maintains weekly master production schedules, analyzes these production schedules against available capacity, and uses the master schedule to develop material requirements plans.

ABOUT THE JOB



  • Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries and to meet orders while minimizing carrying costs and transportation charges, balancing with the overall warehouse capacity.
  • Using the JDE planning systems, prepare and produce master production schedule for assigned product categories.
  • Assist in development and enhancement of S&OP processes.
  • With S&OP team, Warehouse, and Facility team members set inventory targets and implement plans that maintain inventory to those targets.
  • Utilize the master schedule to develop supplier schedule (material requirements).
  • Understand and maintain relevant master data in JDE; driving the efficient use of the planning system messages.
  • Track key performance indicators and other metrics; including production plan adherence, percent production capacity utilized, and percent warehouse space utilized.
  • Analyze reasons for shortages and develop corrective action
  • Develop plans to meet orders during planned maintenance and unexpected downtime.
  • Work with Supply Chain Managers and S&OP Analysts to rebalance production across the network as necessary.
  • Travel to other Wis-Pak locations may be required for training and program development.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management; or a combination of education (including professional certifications, eg, APICS) and relevant experience. Must have strong computer knowledge of ERP Software systems-including planning applications (MPS, MRP, DRP). Will have strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, pivot table and data graphing experience a plus.
