Summary:

This position will support capital projects with development of plans and specifications, perform analysis and provide reports on assigned tasks associated with the design and construction of new assets. This position will be responsible for the implementation and support of the entire project cycle for growth projects including scope and design development, request for funding preparation, estimating and submittals, material procurement, execution, construction oversight, and project close-out documentation.

Summary:

This position both trades and supports all of the analytical functions for the ET GC's NGL business unit. The key focus is on marketing, analytics, management and economics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain industry contacts.
  • Working closely in a team environment to develop and execute position, price risk management and trading strategies that create value added revenue around physical assets.
  • Negotiate and maintain spot and long term third-party NGL purchase and sales agreements.
  • Work closely with NGL scheduling and analytical resources to effectively manage the ongoing utilization of pipeline and fractionation space obligations and opportunities, and to understand the physical flow capabilities and limitations within pipeline and storage systems.
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the NGL strategic business plan and how this function fits within this plan
  • With others in the Department, propose new accretive business and asset opportunities.
  • Concise understanding of the ET NGL storage, fractionation, pipeline, and export assets
  • Develop and maintain, in conjunction with ET management, the annual budget along with the three and five year estimated budget plans
  • Provide analytical support to the various groups within the ET GC NGL business, i.e., management, storage, fractionation, pipeline, marketing and business development
  • Develop and maintain NGL marketing analytics including extensive fundamental market analysis
  • Provide support for all ET NGL presentations
  • Manage and maintain all required export documentation
  • Seek to optimize daily operational systems within each ET GC NGL business
  • Provide and maintain all ET GC NGL administrative reports for management as required (i.e. power usage, cost analysis, etc.)


Requirements:

Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills and abilities:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering or related field or additional equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel
  • Must possess keen analytical and problem solving skills
  • Motivated individual capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to consistently provide accurate and timely work
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines

  • NGL experience


Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.



  • Usually normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • This position occasionally requires working before/after regular office hours including some weekends.
