Enterprise Terafina Specialist

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

The Enterprise Terafina Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all strategic roadmap and business-specific enhancements defined by internal partners and Enterprise Platform Admin (EPA) are executed in a timely, efficient, and sound manner. This role will also serve as an additional escalation point between internal and external partners to assist in any design, solutioning, or production interruptions. Specialists should have full knowledge of the Enterprise Terafina standards and workflows related to specific line of business partners. Specialists should be comfortable leading meetings with Line of Business (LOB) leadership, uphold strong partnerships, project management skills, and written/verbal communication. This role will be able responsible for assisting in identification any cross-workflow impact, balancing competing priorities, and support monitoring and testing as required for upgrades and enhancements. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring all regulations and compliance requirements are being met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist LOB partners and EPA in development, configuration, integration, testing facilitation, and documentation.

  • Assess, decision, and communicate priorities with EPA, LOB partners, and vendors when applicable.

  • Help build and analyze data to support operational soundness and implement risk-monitoring techniques.

  • Work with Technology and LOB partners to identify and refine business requirements and workflows as defined by the stakeholders and Product Owners and requested by the EPA.

  • Work closely with EPA to engage vendor support as needed for normal updates/reporting and escalations when necessary.

  • Ensure software releases/upgrades and application configuration changes are tested, qualified, documented and implemented successfully in conjunction with the roadmap.

  • Document and maintain process and procedures for Terafina solutions.

  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of procedures/processes, and assist with strategies for enhancing these procedures/processes in accordance with best practices to drive continuous improvement.

  • Ensure system testing is completed on production changes to ensure accuracy of processing prior to implementing changes in production environment.

  • Work with the Digital Banking team and other LOB partners to identify opportunities where the platform can create streamline opportunities, efficiency, and automation.

  • Build a strong relationship with the Financial Intelligence Unit to include attending or hosting meetings and presenting information as required or requested by the EPA.

  • Maintain all documentation on the vendor(s) in alignment with the regulatory and company requirements, to include COIs, Annual Financial Reports, SOC Reviews, etc. and submit to Management as required to ensure a Satisfactory audit.

  • Assist with Model Documentation, Risk Assessments and Performance Reviews of the vendor(s) as expected by the EPA and Digital Banking Team.

  • Help facilitate access management reviews in partnership with Identity Access Management and Digital Banking Team.

  • Support the department strategy by implementing and developing tactics that drive discovery and analysis within the project lifecycle. Administer and monitor the development and functionality of Terafina solutions.

  • Maintain close partnership with Enterprise Alloy Specialist to ensure alignment prior to implementation, enhancement, procedures changes, etc.

COMPETENCIES

  • Strong working knowledge of the Fiserv core preferred.

  • Project management experience preferred.

  • Organizational skills: ability to multi-task and prioritize; strong attention to detail; ability to work in a dynamic environment, independently and within teams.

  • Ability to build, communication, enhancement, and strategically analyze reporting.

  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for account origination.

  • Knowledge of banking process preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge MS Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, SharePoint & Salesforce.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.

  • Ability to learn and grasp new concepts and business processes quickly.

  • Detail-oriented with ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: College degree preferred but not required.

  • Experience: 5+ years banking with deposit account opening or core processing preferred. Project management experience, preferred.

  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Salesforce, Fiserv, MS Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and SharePoint.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with the use of the right desk. This position may require bending and reaching.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

For telecommuters or hybrid: Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.

TRAVEL

Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
