The Department of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety is seeking a Research Coordinator to advance the scholarly work of VCU's quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. This position will perform administrative and study-related duties essential to the successful management of quality improvement research and scholarly preparation and dissemination. Employment Qualifications Required Education: Associate of Arts or Associate of Science Degree Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree Licensure/Certification Required:n/a Licensure/Certification Preferred: RN or LPN preferred Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience: Working knowledge of medical terminology and medical procedures Years and Type of PreferredExperience: Work experience in quality or clinical settings Previous experience with clinical research Previous years of work experience in an educational or team environment.
