Application Developer (Multiple Positions)

Job Description Summary:

Working in an Agile environment designing, developing and implementing cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications using Core Java, JSP, JavaScript, Spring, Struts and Angular. Analyzing and validating complex system requirements and existing business processes and information systems to ensure desirability, practicality, and resource availability and capability. Participating in the design, development and implementation of new programs and/or modification of existing applications. Developing complex designs, prototypes and other methodologies for new and/or existing systems including the design, development and implementation of test plans and strategies as well as program specifications with various interfaces. Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and implementing complex software applications according to standards. Defining and developing specifications and programming for complex technical modules, applications, prototypes and computer programs. Participating in applications programming and development for multiple, large-scale projects. Evaluating and providing technical solutions and strategies for complex application development problems. Determining user requirements, performing application design, establishing priorities and monitoring progress. Evaluating project status and resource utilization and implementing changes to improve the team's effectiveness. Carrying out front-end and web application development to integrate with core processing systems (both custom developed and vendor purchased). Participating in cloud migrations utilizing AWS experience. 100% travel required. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee will work at various client sites throughout the U.S.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained, employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience in the following: Languages: C, Java, J2EE, SQL, PL/SQL or Python; Web/XML Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS or XML; Database: Oracle, SQL-Server, MySQL server, MS SQL, MongoDB or NoSQL; and Development Tools: Eclipse, Spring Tool Suite (STS) or IntelliJ.

Salary offered for the position is: $123,781.00 - $128,781.00/year.

Primary Work Location:

900 N Squirrel Rd, Suite 300, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. 100% travel required. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee will work at various client sites throughout the U.S.
