Data Engineer (Multiple Positions)

Job Description Summary:

Define and modernize current ETL Platforms. Design and develop enterprise class data pipelines using tools like Informatica PowerCenter, SQL Server, and Control M. Build out Informatica ETL pipeline design for Enterprise Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Operational data stores (ODS). Write complex SQL queries and SQL Tuning. Develop database design using SQL and NoSqL. Work on data handling, including cleansing and standardization, data transformations, merging, change data capture, and reconciliation. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee - will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics, or related field of study and five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics, or related field of study and five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained, employer will also accept a Master's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics, or related field of study and two (2) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience in the following: Databases: Teradata, BigQuery, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle or MongoDB; ETL: Informatica or Power Center; Programming Languages: SQL, Python or Shell scripting; Big Data Technologies: Hive, Hadoop or SparkSQL; Cloud Services: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google cloud storage (GCS) or IICS; and Others: Jira, Bitbucket, GIT, Bamboo or Confluence.

Salary offered for the position is: $134,992.00 - $139,992.00/year.

Primary Work Location:

900 N Squirrel Rd, Suite 300, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee - will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.
