Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems, is seeking an elite Zone Manager who will contribute to an exciting, fun, and competitive atmosphere; leading a team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Distributors in the General Industry manufacturing sector. The Zone Manager will be responsible for achieving maximum sales volume for AC products in the General Industry. Emphasis will be placed on candidate's ability to define, support, and direct new distribution channels while maintaining our current position with established direct customers. We are looking for a determined self-starter who can effectively manage their schedule. Our ideal candidate will effectively explain technical concepts regarding our solutions in a sophisticated manner when solving customer challenges. To be successful in this role, you will lead with a consultative approach when assisting your direct reports and customers. Travel within the territory should be expected and embraced by the ideal candidate, approximately 50% of travel can be expected. What we expect of you * Minimum 7 years of manufacturing sales and marketing experience is highly preferred * Bachelor's degree with concentration in engineering or business preferred * Acquire an excellent understanding of Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems solution capabilities * Identify customers with the need or desire for assembly automation solutions and visit with local sales * Interact with customer management to identify their key business drivers and understand cap-ex decision making processes * Walk the assembly line with local sales and identify assembly automation solution opportunities * Assist with recruiting and attracting top talent to vacant sales positions within terriroty * Constant and consistenant coaching, motivating and developing of direct reports with the goal all direct reports will exceed expectations * Identify areas relative to market potential and present coverage requirements from a distribution and direct employee perspective * Conduct weekly reviews with RSM's and Distributors to provide accurate forecasting for Zone * Interface with our Product Company/Engineering Teams on new product(s) and special requirements * Assist Product Company with any/all product development as needed * Ensure all direct reports are up to date on all Sales, Product, and Fastening Theory training per coverage specification. Offer insight and advice if any additional training is needed * Foster an inclusive and innovative team atmosphere, always looking for a better way * Attend customer visits with direct reports to provide support * Provide feedback to direct reports on performance and identify areas of opportunity for development * Ability to execute physical requirements of job which include but are not limited to sitting at a desk, navigating a production floor and frequently lifting and moving between 10-30 pounds.
