Join our Scripps cardiovascular operating room team as a Surgical Tech where you will:

* Ensure OR rooms are prepared for surgery, with all case-specific sterile supplies and equipment ready.

* Monitor the sterile field during procedures, scrub in, and anticipate the needs of the physician and team.

* Proactively use support services to resolve issues, and assist with patient positioning and transport.

* Organize room cleanup and ensure efficient turnover, including equipment decontamination.

This is a full time 12-hour varied shift position with call.

*$4K New Hire Incentive, $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles.

• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of recent experience as a CVOR Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association
• Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills. Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment. Detail-oriented and able to work well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years Cardiac experience
• CST Certification
