Location:

Dallas, TX - Quebec St - Retail shop How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? As the Regional Driver Trainer you will be responsible for the administrative coordination of the driver training program, maintaining regulatory compliance documentation, and helping promote a strong safety culture.

In particular you will:

  • Promote and develop safe work practices. Assist and coach in reducing injuries and vehicle accidents

  • Oversee Driver Mentor Program including scheduling driver mentors and maintaining the driver on-boarding program and identifying additional mentors.

  • Act as mentor and drive with drivers both randomly and as part of the onboarding process.

  • Execute the Smith System defensive driving program for new and existing employees that operate a vehicle for the company.

  • Complete follow up training that is identified through observations or accident investigations.

  • Monitor Lytx events and provide guidance and/or training on observed trends.

  • Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements

  • Minimum 2 years in Manager or supervisory role preferred

  • Minimum 3-5 years commercial driving experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations

  • 50% travel and potential overnight travel
