This position is for the Ship Specification group working in a design-build sustainment environment. This individual will work with multiple disciplines including cost engineering, contracts, and program offices for the configuration maintenance of the Ship Specifications. This individual will also interface with customer (NAVSEA) representatives as required. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the Ship Specifications and their associated Design and Construction contracts are aligned for the VIRGINIA Class and COLUMBIA Class programs. Additional responsibilities will include:
Review Field Modification Requests and other authorized contract changes.
Excellent attention to detail, strong grammatical skills, and a desire to work with submarine design and construction contractual requirements are necessary to be successful in this role. Qualifications Required:
