Description:

Under the direction of the Mobile Health and Wellness Operating Manager the Mobile Clinic Driver is responsible for driving one of our mobile clinics to various community partners (schools, health departments, churches, shelters) health fairs and community events. The driver will also be responsible for overseeing the RV mobile clinic maintenance and regular checks of the mobile unit under the direction of the manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drives and operates mobile health unit as assigned. Assumes responsibility for proper operation of mobile health unit. Reports promptly any accidents or roadway incidents incurred.
  • Performs pre-inspection checks of mobile health unit for general condition (including, but not limited to: fuel level, tire inflation, oil, water level, generators, etc.), as well as post-inspection upon vehicle's return.
  • Reports all repairs known to be needed. Performs minor repair work on the vehicle as necessary. Coordinates major repairs as needed.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications Required:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Valid current driver's license as required by the State of Illinois.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Three years' experience driving an RV or similarly-sized vehicle
    • CDL class B license or higher
    • Experience maintaining RVs
