We're actively seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join our team at Donaldson. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the Human Resources function at our Anderson, IN location. This person will be a primary on-site contact for this plant. We are seeking someone that can lead, manage, facilitate, connect, and build relationships with our plant personnel and the surrounding community.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process for hourly employees, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, selection onboarding and new employee orientation.

  • Lead employee relations and act as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related issues.

  • Administer company policies and procedures and ensure they are up-to-date and communicated effectively. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations

  • Coordinate and facilitate training programs to support development, both for individual contributors and people leaders.

  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

  • Support payroll administration by verifying employee timekeeping records and assisting with payroll inquiries.

  • Collaborate with the EHS to ensure a safe working environment, adherence to safety regulations and manage workers compensation claims.

  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or at least 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience.

  • 4+ years of Human Resources (or related) experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Previous experience with Workday

  • Certification from a recognized HR organization (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
