Description This is a benefited, part time position (56 hours every 2 weeks) generally working Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and every other Tuesday from 7am-4pm. We serve our community by providing care for patients of all ages. Lead by Scripps Clinic dermatologists with advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery. Lead the team and collaborate with providers, providing hands-on support in patient care. Be part of a team ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. What you'll do: Be responsible for clinical flow, locally anesthetizing patients, assisting with procedures such as Mohs, biopsies, excisions, full body skin exams, in-person and telephone triage, conducting patient education, suture removals and wound care. Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
