As an Engineering Intern at Donaldson Company, you will work in our Mobile Solutions Business to develop new air filtration products for alternative power (hydrogen fuel cells) and traditional internal combustion engines (diesel and green fuels). You will work with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and test products through a stage-gate product development process. You will interact with multiple engineering, test lab, and sales teams, and take ownership of a valuable project that will provide you with real industry experience.

Key Internship Responsibilities:

  • Learn product development stage gate process.
  • Learn about air filtration applications.
  • Support product development projects with design, analysis, & testing activities.
  • Lead individual summer internship project - TBD

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled sophomore/2nd year or junior/3rd year undergraduate in an accredited program pursing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field
  • Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CAD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in product design, product development, and design verification testing
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands on experience
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to present and communicate technical concepts
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience with prototyping, testing and/or 3D printing
