Summary: Responsible for receiving and processing all incoming and outgoing product shipments. To ensure consistent and world-class customer experiences through the superior show of quality and friendly customer service.

Essential Functions:


  1. Unload shipments from vendor trucks, verify product against the purchase order / packing slips, and signing off on received products.
  2. Inspect incoming product for any damages or discrepancies and reporting to upper management.
  3. Sort, labeling, and storing product in its designated area.
  4. Maintaining accurate inventory counts of received products.
  5. Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
  6. Ability to work under pressure during peak store operations.
  7. Assist vendors with any questions or concerns and have good communication.
  8. Adherence to OSHA standards and compliance with company safety standards in relation to the proper use of chemicals and equipment involved in the day-to-day completion receiving area.
  9. Notify management of any unsafe conditions or equipment failures.
  10. Work well with all team members to grow the community and maintain a clean facility.
  11. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
  12. Participates in required trainings.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Solid understanding of store operations required.
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must have open availability and able to work all hours of operation.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stand for periods of time.

Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED certificate required.
  • One year or more working in a receiving clerk position.

Special Requirements:


  • A cell phone is required for employment, as access to applications and/or resources may be limited unless a cell phone is used for authentication.

Physical Requirements:


  • Stand and walk 100% of the time, continuously walking throughout shift.
  • Ability to push or pull up to 2000 pounds using a pallet jack or float.
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
  • Bend and lift products weighing up to 50lbs, frequently, and approximately 100lbs. on occasion.
  • Have sufficient visual ability to check invoices, dates, and other written documents.
  • Be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning and household cleaners.
  • Frequent reaching and grasping at waist level: occasionally above shoulder or below waist level.
  • Meet established volume activity standards for the position.
  • Tolerate working in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.

These indicators will be reviewed annually as business performance is documented.
